Hermione Wild is a contemporary folk singer-songwriter based in Wales, whose work is rooted in story, landscape and connection.

An emerging voice on the folk scene, Hermione was recognised almost immediately when she won Tredegar House Folk Festival’s songwriter competition in 2025. She uses songs to both playfully frame modern life and to dive into deep emotional spaces. Her connection to the songs comes across in an authentic performance and her natural vocal ornamentation carries both delicacy and power.
In addition to her warm vocals, her upcoming album features performances from well known names on the British folk scene, including Sam Kelly, Archie Churchill-Moss, Toby Shaer and Evan Carson.
Line-up
Hermione’s typical line up is with her guitarist and co-writer Liam Millinship, a second guitar and a fiddle player backing, however she does perform with various line-ups so can tailor make the line-up, bigger or smaller, to suit requirements.
Other offerings
Hermione can also offer singing workshops and Welsh traditional folk tune workshops. She is also experienced at leading singing sessions and tune sessions, particularly Welsh tunes.
